Sambalpur: The district level Mango Retailing programme was inaugurated in Sambalpur.
As many as 10 stalls were established for marketing of mangoes of Farmers, Producer Groups and Producer Company. The stalls are established at Govindtola, Town hall (Muncipality Chowk) In front of Mahila Police station, PHED ground and at Shanti Nagar Market.
On the other hand the 3 days Mango processing and pickle making training programme has been started for the members of Maa Parvati Producer Group, Thainsar GP of Kuchinda block by ORMAS, Mission Shakti and OLM in association with ITDA, Kuchinda.
The training was designed and imparted by Maruti Foods, Behrampur Ganjam through Zoom app.
The objective is to produce vareities of Mango pickle, Mango leather, Ambula, Aamchur and other mango based items and its branding and marketing. The products like Pickle will be supply to Ahaar Kendraand others will be sold in the market with proper branding and packaging.
The Mango Retailing programme was inagurated by Sukanta Tripathi, PD, DRDA, Sambalpur & Suryavanshi Mayur Vikash, Sub-Collector,Sadar in the presence of Aniruddha Pradhan, Commissioner, SMC, AGM-NABARD, DSWO, DDH, DPM,OLM, LDM Dy. CEO, ORMAS, and other officials.
