Bhubaneswar: In a joint operation by the DVF and SOG in Kandhamal district, the security forces have recovered several incriminating items dumped in a cave by Maoists near village Sasiketa under Gochhapada police station limits in the district.
Based on reliable input an anti-naxalite operation was carried out by a joint team of SOG and DVF, Kandhamal on June 8.
During the course of operation on June 9 while the team was combing the area they found some maoist articles which were dumped in a cave near village Sasiketa under Gochhapada P.S. limits.
The recovered Maoist articles include 17 gelatin Sticks, a Handmade INSAS Magazine, 2 knives, huge amount of unprepared magazine, a pair of black uniform, one black T-Shirt, 3 tiffin boxes, one camouflage cap, one solar plate, one bundle of electric wire, some medicines, axe, a compass box, one DC mobile multi charger, two rifle slings, a whistle cord and Maoist literature, the police said.
