Maoist Camp Busted on Odisha-Chhattisgarh Border Area

Nuapada: Security forces have busted a Maoist camp in Patadhara reserve forest on Odisha-Chhattisgarh border area.

On the basis of reliable information from the Nuapada police, a combing operation was launched by combined security forces of SOG, DVF, COBRA, and CRPF in the dense forest area near Odisha-Chhattisgarh border under Patdhara Reserve Forest under Sinapali police limits in Nuapada district on August 17.

The security forces seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition during the combing operation.

The items seized included 28 Detonators, explosives, AK 47 empty case, radio, battery, medical supplies, Maoist literature and other materials.
