Maoist Dump Busted Near Odisha-Andhra Border Area, Several Articles Recovered

Bhubaneswar: The security forces have busted a Maoist dump near Odisha-Andhra border area on Wednesday.
Based on reliable information, a joint team of SOG and DVF Koraput conducted the anti-Maoist operation on Tuesday in the forest area of Hanumal, Sindhiput, Ondeipadar, Andrahal, Mudulipada under Machhkund Police Station of Koraput and Mudulipada Police Station of Malkangiri.

During the operation, the team unearthed an explosive dump in the forest area near village Sindhiput of Andrahal gram panchayat bordering Rangabayalu GP of Alluri Sitaram Raju district of Andhra Pradesh.

The security forces recovered items, such as Rs 70,000 cash, 17 metres cordex wire, 31 gelatin sticks, 11 electric detonators, one electric wire bundle, two tiffin bombs, one pressure cooker bomb, and one testing pin from the spot, according to an official statement.
