Bhubaneswar: In a significant development, Odisha Chief Secretary Suresh Mahapatra has informed that the Annual Higher Secondary Examinations will be held from 29th April to 6th May 2022. The Summative Assessment-II for the matriculation students will be conducted in their own schools and teachers from other schools will conduct the examinations. As the Covid-19 situation has improved and the subject curriculum will end by 15th March, it has been decided to conduct the examinations in offline mode.
The students will appear the Annual HSE Examinations in their own schools and the teachers from other schools will be engaged in the conduct of the examinations. Where the conduct of examinations is not possible in the own schools, the nearest schools will be considered. He also informed that, keeping the feedback received from the widely held discussions with all the stakeholders regarding the conduct of examinations and evaluation, the students will have to give examination in a single subject in a day. The examinations are likely to be held from 8 am in the morning. It has also been decided that three types of evaluation models will be adopted for publication of the results.
