Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department has issued yellow warning for dense fog in 19 districts of the state. According to the IMD, foggy conditions are likely to prevail over coastal, interior and northern Odisha districts. The Regional Meterological Center has said that Puri, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Koraput, Rayagada, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj district will experience isolated dense fog with visibility in some places going down drastically.
The state has been experiencing dense fog in various districts particularly in the coastal and interior areas for the last few days. Capital City Bhubaneswar had experience dense fog yesterday morning when the visibility in some places went down to less than 20 meters. Two Airplanes were diverted from Bhubaneswar International Airport to Hyderabad and Kolkata as they could not land due to heavy fog yesterday.
