Paralakhemundi: Mission Shakti Loan Mela was organized at Gajapati Stadium by Municipality, Paralakhemundi, Gajapati District on Thursday.
The programme was inaugurated by Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Minister, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare, Co-operation, Government of Odisha.
The programme was attended by other dignitaries including Chandrasekhar Sahu MP, Berhampur, Gabara Tirupati Rao, President, Zilla Parishad, Gajapati, Mariyam Raita, Chairman, SDC, Nirmala Sethy Chairman, Paralakhemundi Municipality.
Lingraj Panda, Collector, Gajapati, Sangram Panda, ADM Gajapati, Romanchal Khamari, CDO-Cum-EO, Zilla Parishad Gajapati were also present on the occasion.
Around 4,500 Women SHG members and beneficiaries of different Govt. Schemes attended the programme.
Various government benefits were distributed to the Women SHG members and to other beneficiaries at the programme.
As many as 101 SHGs have received loans worth Rs 4,14,50,000, 830 SHGs received revolving fund of Rs 1,24,50,000, one SHG got IBCB Fund of 2,04,000.
Besides, MUKTA work order of Rs 6,61,19,000 of Department of Housing & Urban Development was given 125 SHGs.
As many as 91 beneficiaries have received LRC Patta under JAGA Mission and 99 beneficiaries have received Madhubabu Pension.
Rice huller and flour mill have been provided to 4 SHGs, Weighing machine / Big Umbrella/Plastic Crates give to 20 SHG members under Mission Jeevika of ITDA,Paralakhemundi.
Marriage incentive of Rs 2,50,000 was given to one couple by SS & EPD. Three beneficiaries have received National Family Benefit of Rs 60,000 by SS &EPD.
