Bhubaneswar: Mission Shakti members from Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Jagatsinghpur districts on Friday met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
The self-help group (SHG) members from different block federations of these districts, who came to Bhubaneswar for their training programme, met the Chief Minister and explained their experience in the Mission Shakti programme.
The SHG members said that Mission Shakti has improved their skills as well financial condition through various economic activities.
They expressed happiness that today their reputation in the society has increased due to being self-employed and thanked the Chief Minister for this.
They also said that there has been a positive change in their lives due to the Chief Minister’s vision.
Appreciating their work, the Chief Minister said that the Mission Shakti members are playing a key role in the development of Odisha, especially in rural areas and they will continue to do so in the future, the CM hoped.
Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian was present during the discussion of Mission Shakti members with the Chief Minister.
