Bhubaneswar: All coastal and interior districts of Odisha are witnessing rains due to the active south-west monsoon. In the last 24 hours, Paradip recorded the highest rainfall at 105 Millimeters. While Puri received 86.6 mm rain, Dhenkanal and Nayagarh received 70 mm and 43 mm rains respectively. Capital city Bhubaneswar received 14.7 mm rain. With the Meteorological Department predicting the formation of a cyclonic circulation over North-west Bay of Bengal, the state is likely to get heavy rains from tomorrow.
The Met Department has warned that Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Sundergarh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Keonjhar Anugul, Boudh, and Sambalpur districts will receive heavy rains. These districts are likely to get heavy rains in the next three days.
