Bhubaneswar: A team of doctors have left for Nabarangpur district to provide specialty and critical care services to the patients in the remote areas under the Mukhyamantri Vayu Swasthya Seva scheme of the Odisha Government.
Around 800 patients are expected to be treated in the district during the doctors’ team’s visit, informed Health and Family Welfare Secretary Shalini Pandit.
The ambitious Mukhyamantri Vayu Swasthya Seva scheme launched by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to provide advanced health services to the people of remote and backward areas has been successfully delivering super specialty healthcare to the common people since its launch in 2021, as per reports.
Under the initiative, specialist doctors from the state’s premiere medical colleges and hospitals are reaching out to the remote areas and providing treatment and consultancy to the patients who cannot afford to go distance places.
