Multi Specialty Hospital to Come up at Ganjam’s Sitalapalli Village

Bhubaneswar: A Multi Specialty Hospital will come up near Sitalapalli village under Konisi Tahasil of Ganjam district.

The State Government on Wednesday decided to exempt the incidental charges, annual ground rent and cess from the date of taking over of possession along with interest thereon in respect of Government land measuring Ac.43.050 dec. in Sitalapalli village handed over to TATA Steel Limited for establishment of Multi Specialty Hospital at Sitalapalli, the Revenue and Disaster Management Department informed.

However, after sanction of lease, TATA Steel Limited will have to pay the nominal annual ground rent of Rs.100 per acre and annual cess @ 75% of the ground rent, it added.

Notably, the State Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved policy fixing nominal annual ground rent of Rs100/acre & 75% cess of ground rent in respect to government land leased out to charitable organisations. These include institutions for disabled, orphanage, blind school, goshalas etc.
