Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s famous Nandankanan Zoological Park has welcomed two new inmates – Golden-Handed Tamarin and Squirrel Monkeys.
One pair from each species has been added to the animal stock of the Zoological Park.
The animals have been brought from Hyderabad as part of the animal acquisition program for pairing single-sexed animals and for new bloodline infusion.
The animals will be kept in quarantine for one month following which they will be released into enclosures, as per reports.
