National Medical Commission Approves Opening of Govt Medical College at Bhawanipatna

Bhubaneswar: The National Medical Commission has approved opening of a Govt Medical College at Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district.

This has been informed by the State Health and Family Welfare Department.
“Happy to share that the National Medical Commission has approved opening of a Govt Medical College at Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi, with admission of 100 MBBS seats from the academic session 2023 – 24”, the Department said.

This has been made possible due to the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and it will fulfill a long standing aspiration of the people of Odisha, it added.
