Naveen Allots Departments to Party MLAs for Close Monitoring and Assembly Interventions 

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal President and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday allotted various departments to party MLAs for close monitoring, Assembly monitoring and other issues relating to the departments.

The BJD MLAs would closely monitor the activities of the various departments and raise issues pertaining to the departments in the Assembly.

With this move, the BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik has once again reiterated that his party will play the role of a vibrant and strong Opposition in the Assembly for the interests of the people of Odisha.

Athagarh MLA Ranendra Pratap Swain has been allotted for monitoring of Revenue and Disaster Managment, Binjharpur MLA Pramila Mallik to monitor Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water, and Parliamentary Affairs, Badri Narayan Patra: Women & Child Development; Niranjan Pujari: Home and Food Supply & Consumer Welfare; Aswini Kumar Patra: Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts, Pratap Keshari Deb: General Administration & Public Grievance, Arun Kumar Sahoo: Water Resources; Sarada Prasad Nayak: Industries; Prasanna Acharya: Finance and Public Enterprieses..
