Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has strongly condemned the Maoist violence in Kalahandi district where a local journalist was killed.
Violence has no place in democracy, said the Chief Minister while adding that his Government will take stern action against the perpetrators.
The CM has condoled the death of journalist Rohit Biswal in the landmine blast planted by Maoists near Karlakhunta bridge in Madanpur Rampur block of Kalahandi district.
ମାଓବାଦୀଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ବିଛା ଯାଇଥିବା ଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡମାଇନ୍ ବ୍ଲାଷ୍ଟରେ କଳାହାଣ୍ଡିର ସାମ୍ବାଦିକ ରୋହିତ ବିଶ୍ୱାଳ ପ୍ରାଣ ହରାଇଥିବା ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରିବା ସହ ଏହି ଦୁଃଖଦ ସମୟରେ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାର ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମୋର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଉଛି।
