Naveen Condoles the Death of Padma Shri Maguni Charana Kuanra; Last Rites to Be Held With Full State Honours

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the death of noted puppeteer Padma Shri Maguni Charana Kuanra. In his condolence message, the Chief Minister said that Guru Maguni Kuanara of Keonjhar district played an important role in reviving the age old Kandhei Nacha of Odisha.

The passing away of Guru Maguni Kuanara, the recipient of many awards and honours, is an irreparable loss to the traditional art world of Odisha. The Chief Minister has also ordered to carry out the last rites of Maguni Charana Kuanara with full state honours. The Chief Minister prayed for the eternal soul and expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
