Naveen Congratulates Debasis Sahoo On Being Selected To Represent India In Qualifying Zone of Junior Davis Cup

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated ace tennis player from Odisha Debasis Sahoo on being nominated to represent the country in the Asia Oceania Qualifying Zone of the 222 Junior Davis Cup.

In a tweet, Naveen said “Congratulate tennis player Debasis Sahoo on being nominated to represent #India in the Asia Oceania Qualifying Zone of the 2022 Junior Davis Cup & Junior Billie Jean King Cup 2022. Wish him all the best for the tournaments.”

Debasis belongs to Dhenkanal and is the first player from the state to play in such an important tournament. He has also won the AITA National Series Tournament. Debasis holds the first rank in Odisha in both the under 16 and under 18 categories.
