Naveen Expresses Happiness as Sunapur Beach Accorded Blue Flag Certification

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed his happiness as Sunapur Beach in Ganjam district has been accorded the Blue Flag certification from the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).

“Glad to share that Sunapur Beach in Ganjam, one of the picturesque beaches of #Odisha has received the prestigious BlueFlag certification from FEE. This globally recognised eco-label, by ensuring stringent environmental standards, cleanliness, and tourist-friendly amenities will further boost tourism”, the CM wrote on his social media handle ‘X’.

Sunapur Beach is the second beach in Odisha to have received the coveted certification from FEE after the Puri’s golden beach, which bagged the Blue Flag tag in 2020.
