Naveen Launches Distribution of BSKY Smart Heath Cards in Deogarh, Dedicates Slew of Development Projects

Deogarh: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday distributed the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) Health Cards in Deogarh district.

The BSKY Digital Health Card, which is the first of its kind service in the country, will play a major role in further strengthening the healthcare service in the district.

The initiative will transform the health service delivery system in the State. The scheme enables the beneficiary get access to medical services at all Government hospitals of the State and more than 200 private hospitals of the State and outside without any financial problem.

Each family can avail treatment benefits up to Rs 5 lakh per annum under the scheme and in case of women family members, the limit is Rs 10 lakh.

More than 2.70 lakh families will be given the smart health cards in Deogarh district.

The Chief Minister also dedicated and laid foundation stone various projects worth Rs 707 crore for the development of Deogarh district.
