Gajapati Maharaja Lays the Foundation Of Heritage Corridor Project In Puri In Presence Of Naveen

Puri: Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb has laid the foundation of the most ambitious development program for Sri Jagannath Temple – the Heritage Corridor Project or the Srimandira Parikrama project in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who reached Puri today morning, participated in the special Yagna being performed as part of the Silanyas program and felicitated the citizens of Puri who have whole heartedly supported the Heritage Corridor Project and sacrificed their land for the project.

The three day Yagna was performed by 30 Shrotriya Brahmins under the supervision of Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deba. Speaker Suryanarayana Patro, Minister’s, MLA’s, Chief Secretary Suresh Mahaptra, 5T Secretary V K Pandian and other senior officials were present at the foundation laying program.
