Naveen Mourns The Sad Demise Of Veteran Actress Jharana Das; Last Rights To Be Held With Full State Honours

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief over the passing away of veteran Odia actress Jharana Das. In his condolence message, Naveen has said that Jharana Das was a versatile actress. Her acting skills and performance in both stage and film along with All India Radio brought her immense popularity. Jharana Das’s voice and her amazing acting gave her a huge reputation as a legendary actress in the Ollywood cinema industry.

The Chief Minister said that her demise has created a huge void in the Odia film and cultural world. He also, expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul. Naveen also announced that the cremation of Jharana Das will be held with full state honours.
