New Delhi: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will attend the Conference of Chief Justices-Chief Ministers at New Delhi today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the joint conference of Chief Justices-Chief Ministers at Vigyan Bhawan. Chief Justice of India, Justice NV Ramana, Union Minister for Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju, and many other dignitaries will also participate in the conference. The conference of the Chief Ministers and Chief Justices is being organised after a gap of six years.
The Conference will mainly deliberate on creating a mechanism for improving the delivery of justice and to discuss the ways for solving the problems and challenges faced by the judicial system in the country.
