Naveen to Inaugurate State-Level Capacity Building Programme for Empowering Jala Sathis

Bhubaneswar: Recognising the valuable contribution of community partners and to build their capacity further, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik

will inaugurate a State-Level Capacity Building Programme for empowering Jala Sathis at the Lok Seva Bhawan today.

The Chief Minister will inaugurate the programme at around 11.30 am, as per the CMO.

The Chief Minister will also felicitate the Jala Sathis along with the transgender groups for their outstanding performance in managing the Septage Treatment Plant and Water Treatment Plant Bhubaneswar and Cuttack respectively.

Jalasathi, a 5T initiative of Housing & Urban Development Department was launched by the Chief Minister for effective drinking water supply management in urban areas.

The Jalasathis will act as a link between consumers and the water supply authorities.
