Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today inaugurate eastern India’s biggest crafts mela – the Toshali Crafts Mela today at the Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar.
Speaking to media, Padmini Dian, Minister for Handlooms and Textiles Minister Padmini Dian announced that this year more than 390 stalls will be opened at this premere exhibition.
This year’s theme for the mela is Kendrapada’s Kaincha or Golden Grass craft for which a separate exclusive pavilion will also be opened. The Mela will be open for public from 6 pm to 9:30 pm and will continue till April 10.
