Nabarangpur: All speculations related to the missing of four persons from Umerkote ended when the car they were travelling was found inside a well today. It is feared that the car fell into the abandoned well after one of its tyres burst and the driver lost control over the vehicle. Three members of a family from Umerkote and their neighbor had gone to Kanker in Chhattisgarh for a function on Saturday and were missing while returning. Their family members had written a complaint regarding this at the Kanker Police Station. It was also alleged that they were kidnapped on their way back to Umerkote. The diseased have been identified as Sapan Sarkar, his wife Rita Sarkar, Biswajit Adhikari and neighbor Hajari Dhali.
The car was today located inside an abandoned well near Kanker. The authorities have retrieved the car and found the dead bodies of all four persons. The dead bodies have been sent for postmortem.
