Bhubaneswar: There would be no large charge in maximum day temperature during the next five days over the districts of Odisha, said the Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
The current meteorological condition indicates that there will be no large change in maximum temperature (Day Temperature) during next 5 days over the districts of Odisha. Maximum day temperature is likely to be 42°C or more at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha, such as Nuapada, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Angul, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh and Kalahandi.
Consequently hot and discomfort weather are very likely to prevail and people are advised to take precautionary measures while going outside during day time between 1100 1ST-1500 1ST, the Meteorological Centre said in a press release.
Thunderstorm and lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 40 to 50 kmph are very likely over some districts of coastal & adjoining districts of Odisha, it added.
