Nuapada Sizzles at 44.0°C, Several Places Record Above 40 Degree Celsius 

Bhubaneswar: There is no respite from heatwave condition in Odisha as several places recorded above 40 degree Celsius day temperature on Wednesday.

Nuapada recorded the highest maximum temperature of 44 degree Celsius, followed by Jharsuguda 43.4 degree Celsius, Talcher 43.2 degree Celsius and Angul 43.1 degree Celsius, according to the IMD.

Meanwhile, the IMD said that there would be no large change in maximum day temperature during the next five days over the districts of Odisha.

Maximum temperature is likely to be 42 degree Celsius or more at a few places during the next three days over some districts, such as Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Boudh, Sonepur, Bolangir, Jharsuguda and Bargarh.
