Hyderabad: An Odia couple from Cuttack identified as Chandan Jethi and Mitali Mohapatra Jethi are among the eight persons who have died in the massive fire that broke out yesterday night at a hotel in Secunderabad. According to reports, the couple stays at Bengaluru but went to Secunderabad on a training program.
The Government of Telangana has ordered a probe into the mishap. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier expressed grief over the loss of lives and announced Rs.2 lakh from PMNRF to the next of kin of each deceased and Rs.50,000 to the injured.
