Bhubaneswar: Ten Odia students studying at Manipur’s Central Agriculture University have returned safely to Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
The students have expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for bringing them back home safely.
On the instructions of the Chief Minister, Odisha Parivar was directed to facilitate the return of students from Odisha in Manipur which has been affected by communal violence.
The students were brought to Kolkata last night and today morning they arrived at Bhubaneswar airport. They were welcomed at the airport.
The students met the Chief Minister at Naveen Niwas.
The Chief Minister asked them about their studies and expressed hope that normalcy would return to Manipur soon.
The Chief Minister welcomed the children by giving them Hockey India jerseys.
