Odisha: 130 Frontline Workers of Capital Hospital Test Positive for COVID-19

Bhubaneswar: As many as 130 frontline workers of Capital Hospital here tested positive for COVID-19.

Of the 130 infected persons, 40 are the doctors, 30 nurses, 40 lab technicians and more than 15 pharmacists, according to reports.

Laxmidhar Sahoo, Director, Capital Hospital informed that the OPD of the hospital will be closed in the afternoon considering the unprecedented situation arising due to the pandemic.

The OPD will remain open for patients from 8 am to 1 pm only, he said.
Meanwhile, all the staff on duty and the patients have been advised to take the preventive measures to prevent the spread of virus, he added.
