Odisha: 3 New Fire Stations to Be Established in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Three new fire stations will be established in Bhubaneswar. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday approved a proposal in this regard.

Considering the ever-increasing area and population of Bhubaneswar, the Chief Minister has taken this decision to improve the fire system and provide security to the people.

The new fire stations will be established at Tamando, Mancheswar and Pahal. As many as 45 posts have also been approved for manning the new fire stations. Each center will have 15 staff, comprising one station officer, two leading firemen, one driver-authority, one fireman driver and 10 firemen, according to an official release.
