Odisha: 9 New Posts Created for Jharsuguda Integrated Development Agency 

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has created nine new posts for the newly Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) for the two blocks – Laikera and Kirmira in Jharsuguda district.

All the villages in the two blocks will be covered under the ITDA, which has been named as Jharsuguda Integrated Development Agency.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved the creation of new posts for the ITDA.

The Chief Minister expressed hope that the tribal development and welfare programs will be accelerated in these two blocks.

The new posts include one project administrator, one special officer, one assistant executive engineer, one assistant engineer, one accountant, one head clerk, one junior stenographer, one senior clerk and one junior clerk. .

It is worth noting that Gond, Bhuiyan, and Kisan tribals live in Laikera and Kirmira blocks. There are also Mundas, Kolha, Oraon, Sabara, Kharia and Sara tribes in the blocks. In Laikera the number of tribal population is 51.78 percent while in Kirimera it is 18.46 percent.
