Bhubaneswar: Odisha is among the top three states in country in reducing unemployment, revealed a latest report.
While the unemployment rate in the country stands at 7.5 per cent, the unemployment rate in Odisha is 2.1 per cent as on March 2, 2023, according to a study conducted by the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE).
“Odisha has achieved remarkable success in reducing unemployment due to the effective policy decisions and successful implementation of schemes”, the CMO tweeted.

The Odisha Government has created livelihood opportunities both in rural and urban areas through favorable business and development model. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Odisha is fast emerging as the manufacturing hub in the country.
