Bhubaneswar: The aganwadi centres (AWCs) in Odisha will reopen from March 28, announced the Women and Child Development Department today.
The AWCs will remain open from 7.30 to 9.30 am for 25 days a month.
In a letter to Collectors of all districts, Director, ICDS and SW, under the Women and Child Development department, Aravind Agarwal has urged them to mak arrangements accordingly and ensure that COVID protocols of social distancing are strictly adhered.
For the children who are unable to attend AWCs due to COVID and other reasons, ration under supplementary nutrition programme will be provided at their doorsteps, the letter said.
