Balasore: The OSSC Statistical Assistant Recruitment Examination has been marred with the allegations of paper leak.
A chaotic situation prevailed at an exam center in Balasore district where the aspirants alleged that the seal on the question paper packet was seen open before the commencement of the exam, according to reports.
As per the rules, the seal of the question paper packet should be opened in the presence of the students before the examination. The exam was supposed to be held from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon on Sunday. The packet was opened much before 10.30 am at the exam center in Gopalgaon.
Some students even alleged that the CCTV footage from the exam center had been tampered.
The students raised serious suspicions of paper leak and demanded for re-examination.
However, the authorities rubbished the allegations, stating that the seal of the packet was opened due to a technical issue.
