New Delhi: Odisha-born Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Jagannath Bidyadhar Mohapatra has been appointed as Chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Wednesday approved the appointment, according to reports.
Mohapatra, a 1985-batch IRS officer, is currently working as Member of CBDT.
