Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cabinet led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday approved a proposal for the construction of a bridge over river Mahanadi at Brahmankanda- Sahukheta road under Salipur Block in Cuttack district.
The bridge will be built under State Plan” during 2023-24, which will provide an interlink connection between Cuttack — Paradeep Road (SH-12) to Cuttack Chandbali Road.
The Project will benefit the people residing on both sides of the river by providing direct connectivity and economic opportunity.
Tender for this project has been approved by the Cabinet in favour of ITL-CCPL (IV) amounting to Rs. 128,71,00,000.00 for execution of the work.
The work is targeted for completion within 36 months.
