Odisha CM Appeals People to Wear Masks

Bhubaneswar: Amid the spike in COVID-19 cases in Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today appealed the people to wear masks to protect from the virus.

The risk of COVID-19 pandemic is not over yet, said the Chief Minister while urging people to wear masks to protect themselves and others from the infection.


Earlier, the Bhubaneswar and Cuttack Municipal Corporations have come up with fresh SOPs for COVID-19 management insisting the residents to wear masks in the public places to prevent spread of the virus.

Notably, Odisha has reported as many as 743 new positive cases in the span of 24 hours taking the State tally of active cases to 3878, stated the Information and Public Relations Department this morning.
