Odisha: CM Approves Recruitment of 196 Cops for 28 Permanent Police Outposts

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday approved the recruitment of 28 Sub Inspectors and 168 Constables at 28 Permanent Police Outposts in the State.

The 196 posts have been created by way of redistribution of positions in the Police Department, according to an official release.

The recruits will be appointed at the 28 Police Outposts across the state.

One Sub Inspector and six Constables will be deployed at each outpost. The cops will be responsible for various criminal investigations and law enforcement.
