Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi continues to listen to the grievances of the people.
The hearing of the grievances, which began on July 1, reached its second day today.
Along with the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and various ministers were present at the meeting. Secretaries and senior officers of different departments also attended the meeting.
Today, the Chief Minister started the hearing at 10 am and continued the hearing till 4.30 pm. A total of 1741 grievances were registered.
Before the commencement of hearing of grievances, the Chief Minister consulted with other ministers and officials and suggested to make the system fully efficient and transparent. He asked to keep the grievance redressal portal updated and prepare daily reports.
He directed that the complaint hearing process should be improved and efficient, especially at the district level. He said that people would not have to come to Bhubaneswar if the grievances of the people are properly heard by the local administration.
