Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today reiterated his commitment to promote and nurture small industries so that they continue to remain steadfast in their role as the backbone of the economy.
Small industries braved multiple challenges during COVID-19 and contributed significantly to country’s economy, said the Chief Minister on the occasion of National Small Industry Day.
In a twitter post, the CM wrote, “Reiterate commitment to promote and nurture small industries so that they continue to remain steadfast in their role as the backbone of our economy”.

National Small Industry Day is celebrated every year on 30 August. The Day recognizes the value of small businesses in our society.
