Odisha: Conjoined Twin Born at Sambalpur DHH

Sambalpur: After Jaga-Kalia, another conjoined twin was born in Sambalpur district.

A woman gave birth to the conjoined twin girls at the District Headquarters Hospital on Saturday.

The twins have separate heads, but their bodies have been conjoined from the belly to the neck, according to hospital sources.

The girls were born to Rabina Kumari, wife of a ‘panipuri’ vendor at Rengali.
Earlier, a similar conjoined twin – Jaga-Kalia of Kandhamal district were separated after surgery at AIIMS-Delhi in October, 2017.
