Odisha DGP Dismisses Boipariguda IIC from Service

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Sunil Kumar Bansal has dismissed a tainted police IIC from service as part of the zero tolerance policy of the State Government towards corruption.

The dismissed police officer been identified as Sushanta Kumar Satpathy, who had served as Boipariguda Police Station IIC.

“In consonance with zero tolerance policy of the State Government towards corruption, DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal has dismissed tainted Inspector of Police Sushanta Kumar Satpathy from service under Article311(2)(b) of Indian Constitution following his arrest in a corruption case”, the Odisha Police informed.


Satpathy was arrested by the Odisha Vigilance after seizing a total cash of Rs 37,27,000 from his possessions.
