Boudh: Odisha Director General of Police (DGP), YB Khurania on Friday visited Boudh to review the Maoist situation in the district.
During his visit, the DGP chaired a high level meeting with senior police and CRPF officers to assess the LWE operations in the district.
IG Operations Jai Narayan Pankaj, SIW DIG Kanwar Vishal Singh, South Range DIG Sarthak Sadangi, Boudh SP Nageshwar Debarkonda and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
Earlier on Thursday, the DGP visited Kandhamal district to take stock of the law and order situation preparedness of the anti-Maoist operation.
Meanwhile, CRPF IG Archana Shivhare arrived in Kandhamal to review the ongoing Maoist situation.
