Bhubaneswar: Odisha Director General of Police Sunil Kumar Bansal today reviewed the preparedness for the ensuing three-tier Panchayat elections in the State.
The DGP held discussions with all District SsP and Range IGsP/ DIsGP through video conferencing about the various aspects of the elections.
Bansal emphasized on the free, fair, transparent, impartial and incident free election.
He also stressed on strict enforcement of Model Code of Conduct and adherence to the ECI guidelines and COVID protocols.
The Panchayat elections will be held in five phases on February 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 while results will be declared on February 26, 27 and 28.
