Bhubaneswar: The Economic Offences Wing of the Odisha Crime Branch has arrested the main culprit in the multi crore ponzi scam. The EOW arrested Dileep Kumar P, director of a Kerala-based Shell company in online ponzi case from Thrissur, Kerala. This company was utilized to channelize ill-gotten money of this scam.
The EOW could successfully traced around Rs 19.49 crore to have been routed using this company. The arrested director of the Kerala based shell company founded a charitable trust and a website 18football.com for betting and online ponzi.
