Odisha Govt Issues Notification for Abolition of Contractual Recruitment System: Over 57K Employees to Be Regularized

Bhubaneswar: A day after Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik made the historic announcement to abolish the contractual recruitment system in Odisha, the State Government today issued an official notification in this regard.
The Chief Minister made the announcement while addressing the people of the State after approval of his Cabinet last evening.

More than 57,000 employees will benefit from this move and the government will bear an additional burden of Rs 1,300 crore per annum.
