Bhubaneswar: Heat wave conditions are likely to prevail in Odisha from April 1, the regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts.
As per the IMD forecast, Odisha will see a gradual rise in maximum temperature (day temperature) by 2°C-4°C during the next three days. The minimum temperature (night temperature) will also rise by 2°C-3°C during the next two to three days
Maximum temperature is likely to reach 35-37 degree Celsius in coastal Odisha while the figure may touch 35-39 degree Celsius in interior Odisha. After three days, maximum temperature may hit 40 degree Celsius in some areas, the IMD stated.
