Bhubaneswar: The Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department has held a preparatory meeting regarding the state-level celebrations of Independence Day on August 15.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary of I&PR Department Sanjay Kumar Singh discussed about the various aspects of the state-level celebrations of the Independence Day.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will hoist the national flag as the chief guest on the occasion.
The state-level ceremony will be held at Bhubaneswar Unit-3 Exhibition Ground. Arrangements will be made for live broadcasting of the ceremony. Since Independence Day is a symbol of emotion and pride for all, Singh stressed that every aspect of the celebration should be carefully planned.
