Odisha is Making Its Mark in Every Field through Transformative Initiatives: CM Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Odisha today is making its mark in every field through its transformative initiatives, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday.

“We are building new-age infrastructure in every city, every village for a new and empowered Odisha. The new Odisha has become a model of development in many areas”, Naveen said while gracing the 91st birth anniversary ceremony of Pradyuma Bal, Founder Editor, Pragativadi, as Chief Guest through video conferencing.

Paying tributes to Pradyuma Bal, the CM said that Pradyumna Babu was a great institution builder. Apart from The Pragativadi, he was also the founder president of KIIT. His institutions are now models of a rising and inspiring Odisha. His saga lives through these institutions. Following his ideals, the Pragativadi has served the people for over 50 glorious years. His inspiring journalistic ethics has kept this media house win the confidence of people. The Pragativadi has succeeded in awakening the spirit of democracy and value based journalism. Its new endeavor to revive Gandhian philosophy will certainly have a positive impact on our society, particularly on our younger generation, the CM said.

The Chief Minister has called upon all to follow principles of Pradyuma Bal.

The CM also congratulated Krishna Singh and Banchanidhi Mohanty for receiving the pradyumna Bal Award.
